A prolific designer, Hawk has garnered nearly thirty architectural design awards for projects and places at universities, on corporate campuses, and in religious and recreational settings. His client list includes Bath and Body Works, Ohio Mutual, Victoria’s Secret, State Auto Insurance, Encova, Metro Parks, Columbus Recreation and Parks, and the Ohio State University.

Hawk has dedicated his career to elevating the practice of architecture as a local, state, and national leader in the American Institute of Architects where he has focused on educational programs, advocacy, and public engagement. From 2018 through 2021 he served as the liaison to the American Institute of Architecture Students and strengthened pipelines to the profession, and he currently serves the Architects Foundation as Treasurer.

While an architecture student at Ohio State, Tim began to explore his interest in sketching, drawing, and painting, and throughout his architectural career, he has continued to experiment with artistic expression. In 2023, he was signed by a gallery in the Short North Arts District of Columbus where his unique watercolors are on display.

In 2022, Hawk formed a development company, Hawk’s Nest Urban Housing, where he designs and builds prototypical single-family houses to increase access to housing for emerging professionals throughout the Columbus metro.
